Dennemann named All-State

New Palestine volleyball sophomore Allison Dennemann was named second-team 3A All-State this week by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association. Dennemann averaged 4.7 kills/set and had a .337 hitting percentage for the Dragons, both outstanding numbers. She also averaged 3.1 digs/set, was second on the team with 31 blocks, and had 43 total aces

Dragons receive All-HHC honors

Several New Palestine athletes were recently voted to All-Hoosier Heritage Conference teams. Boys soccer Seniors Nick Martin, Ryan Miller and Erik Silvey were named to the All-HHC team, as well as juniors Kyle Doss and Caleb Eagleson. The Dragons tied Mt. Vernon for the HHC title. The New Palestine volleyball team went point-for-point with Chatard, but the Dragons eventually fell 25-23, 25-23, 25-18 in the Class 3A sectional championship match Saturday night at Crispus Attucks.
