New Palestine High School junior Karen Shriver finished 12th in Tuesday’s diving regional at Brownsburg. Shriver posted a score of 290.75. She was second out of the four qualifiers from the New Palestine sectional. The New Palestine girls swim team placed third in Saturday’s sectional, finishing with 251 points. Greenfield-Central (503) won the title, with Mt. Vernon (364) finishing second. The Warren Central swimming invitational has been moved to Friday due to the forecast for inclement weather. The New Palestine swim teams will compete in the invitational, which begins at 6 p.m. Friday. The invitational was initially scheduled for Saturday.
