Poturalski wins at Zionsville

The New Palestine boys track and field team competed at the Zionsville Invitional on Friday night finishing sixth out 10 teams. The Dragons were led by 400m champion Chris Pouturalski.

The New Palestine boys track and field team competed against Roncalli and Franklin Central Monday, with the final tally being Franklin Central 90, Roncalli 49, and New Palestine 28. The New Palestine track teams traveled to Hauser Monday for a four-way meet, and both came away victorious. Poturalski wins at Midwest Prep

NPHS senior Chris Poturalski was a double-winner at the Midwest Prep Invitational at Lawrence Central on Saturday. A total of 646 athletes from three states competed in the event. Poturalski won both the 200 and 400 meter dash titles at the event. He was also part of the 4×400 relay, joining Kyle Zehner, Adam Brickens

Track competes against Rushville

The New Palestine track teams competed Thursday at Rushville. The boys dropped an 86-46 decision. Winners for the Dragons were Chris Poturalski (200), Chase Crowder (800), Riley Wilson (1600), Matt Young (discus) and the 4×800 relay of Poturalski, Crowder, Wilson and Connor Dobbins. The Dragons compete Saturday at the Midwest Prep invitational.
