Gymnasts win Rushville Invitational

The New Palestine gymnastics team posted a triple-digit score to win the Rushville Invitational on Saturday. The Dragons scored 100.275 to win the eight-tem event. The Dragons had the top two scores in the all-around, with Emily Heighway posting a 34.175 and Faith Land a 32.325. Taylor Brown was eighth with a score of 29.75.

The New Palestine gymnastics team continued its fine start to the season with a victory over Noblesville Tuesday evening. The Dragons won by a score of 99.975-95.05. Emily Heighway swept all four events and won the all-around with a score of 35,125. Faith Land was third in the all-around (32.425) and Bailey Watkins fourth (31.05).
