The New Palestine CC teams competed Saturday at the Marion Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University. The girls placed 15thof 20 teams. The New Palestine boys cross country team placed 4th out of 6 teams in the A Divison at the Black and Gold Hokum Karem Relays at Noblesville. CC teams compete at PH

The New Palestine cross country teams competed in Wednesday’s Pendleton Heights Arabian Roundup. The boys placed fifth of 18 teams, and the girls placed sixth of 17 teams. Sophomore Samuel Voelz was the event’s runner-up, running a time of 17:07. Mt. Vernon’s Aaron Rush (16:40) was the champion. NP junior Riley Wilson was 13th (18:15).

Voelz, Crosby lead CC teams

The New Palestine cross country teams competed Saturday at the Harvey Invitational at Brebeuf, and had two medalists — fifth-place Samuel Voelz in the boys race and ninth-place Marissa Crosby in the girls race.
