Stacey places 15th in diving regional

New Palestine freshman Colin Stacey placed 15th in Tuesday’s IHSAA diving regional at Plainfield. Stacey scored an 11-dive total of 233.60 to finish 15th in the 20-diver field. The top eight qualified for the State Finals. Isaac Khamis of Richmond won the regional with a score of 496.25.

The New Palestine swim team competed Friday in four events at the IHSAA State Finals. Senior Courtnee Coffman had two strong individual performances. The New Palestine boys swimming team finished second in a three-way meet Monday. The Dragons scored 104 points to fall to Pendleton Heights, which had 115. NP beat Hagerstown, which had 91.
