The New Palestine girls golf team won its first dual meet of the season Monday, beating Greenwood 198-214 at Hillview CC in Franklin. Lauren Appleby led the Dragons with a 45. Kate Stanfield added a 50. Hanna Beller and Katie Kelley each shot 51s. Janie Hamilton's 52 was the fifth score. Lily Kirchner shot 56 and Ava Hasecuster 58. The Dragons (1-0) are back in action Thursday at Noblesville.
