New Palestine High School

Brian Murphy will join New Palestine High School Athletics as the new athletic director, pending approval by the school board. Murphy joins NPHS after three years as the athletic director at Southport High School. At Southport, he hosted multiple IHSAA tournament events, including regional and semistate basketball tournaments. He also hosted the Indiana All-Star series. Before being elevated to AD at Southport, Murphy served as the assistant athletic director with Pete Hubert. Murphy was a three-sport athlete at Cardinal Ritter High School, graduating in 1986. He is a graduate of Hanover College, where he played baseball for the Panthers.
