New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls soccer team advanced to the sectional final Thursday with a 7-3 victory over Richmond. The Dragons improved to 11-3-2 on the season with the victory, and advance to Saturday's 7 p.m. championship game at East Central against the host Trojans. Gabbie Brown had six goal contributions - tallying a hat trick to go along with three assists. Addison Lindell also had a hat trick and an assist. Brooke Tanksley had a goal and an assist. Shaylee Frank and Hailey Pardieck also tallied assists. The Dragons built a 4-1 halftime lead and added on in the second half.
