New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys soccer team held firm for a half, but eventually fell 6-0 to Carmel Thursday at Kelso Stadium. The Dragons conceded a goal in the 19th minute, but that was the only goal they allowed in the opening 40 minutes. NP had four shots in the opening half. Carmel added a second goal in the 55th minute, then scored four times in the last 20 minutes to extend its lead. The Dragons are now 7-6 on the season. They next play Monday at home against Shelbyville.
