The New Palestine girls soccer team clinched a piece of the Hoosier Heritage Conference title Wednesday with a 3-0 shutout at Pendleton Heights. The Dragons opened the scoring in the 11th minute, as Addison Lindell rocketed home a deflected shot. In the 18th minute, Gabbie Brown doubled the lead. With a 2-0 halftime edge, Brown added an insurance goal in the second half in the 54th minute. The Dragons defense and goalkeeper Adalynn Eakin held on to the clean sheet to preserve the victory. The Dragons are now 10-3-1 and finish HHC play with a 6-1 record. They are 7-0-1 in their last eight games.
