Addison Lindell's 52nd-minute goal broke a deadlock Wednesday and sent the New Palestine girls soccer team to a 3-2 road victory over county and conference rival Greenfield-Central. The teams entered halftime tied at 2-2 when Lindell scored early in the second half. The Dragons' defense made the lead stand up. The Dragons built a 2-0 lead on goals by Hannah Sund and Lindell in the 21st and 24th minutes. G-C answered to tie the game in the closing minutes of the half, setting the stage for the Dragons to win it after the break. The Dragons are now 8-3 after their fifth straight win. They are 5-1 in HHC play. They next play Thursday at home against Cathedral.
