Volleyball sweeps Falcons

The New Palestine volleyball team posted a three-set sweep of Perry Meridian Wednesday at home, beating the Falcons 25-12, 25-23, 25-21. Two Dragons tallied double-doubles. Natalie Sevier had 13 kills, 11 digs and two blocks. Sam Gooding added 36 assists and 10 digs. The Dragons' middles had big days, as Hayden Ramsey had 11 kills and two blocks, while Caylee Brown had 11 kills, four digs and three blocks. Cara Steele had four kills. Azure Flagle led the defense with 22 digs and two aces. Adelynn Crispin had nine digs. Kennedy Armstrong and Emmi Robinson had six digs each. The Dragons are now 13-2 on the season. They next play Thursday at Pendleton Heights.
