The New Palestine girls volleyball team posted a three-set road sweep of Lutheran, beating the Saints 25-17, 25-10, 25-11 Wednesday evening. The Dragons served 20 aces, led by Kennedy Armstrong, who had seven. Middle hitters Hayden Ramsey and Caylee Brown both dominated at the net with .909 hitting efficiency - with 10 kills on 11 attempts with no errors for each. In addition to her seven aces, Armstrong had 12 digs. Azure Flagle added 19 digs to lead the Dragons. Adelynn Crispin had seven digs and four aces, while Natalie Sevier had seven digs, three aces and 10 kills. Cara Steele added four kills, while Sam Gooding had 32 assists. The Dragons are now 8-2 on the season. They are next in action Thursday at home against Triton Central.
