New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys volleyball team pulled away to a senior night victory Tuesday, beating Warren Central 25-12, 21-25, 25-17, 25-9. The Dragons used big runs in the first and third sets to pull away to the victory. The Dragons honored seniors Jake Cwikla, Ethan Fitzgerald, Carter Hacker, Will Hahn, James O'Dell and Jack Rossell during the match. Cwikla led the Dragons with eight kills and two aces. O'Dell and Daysen Wood had seven each. O'Dell also had three aces. Wood and Hahn had two blocks each. Eli Martin had 15 digs and Maguire Gross nine to lead the defense. Aaron Smith had 19 assists and Kameron Engle 13. The Dragons finish the regular season 11-15. They open sectional play Saturday at Roncalli against Beech Grove.
