The New Palestine boys tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision Tuesday at home to Eastern Hancock. Luke Bartusek/Gavin Berry won a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 1 doubles for the Dragons' lone win. At No. 2 doubles, Jackson Clark/Davis Harrison fell 5-7, 6-1, 10-8 in a super-tiebreaker. EH swept the singles, with Carson Rush falling 6-4, 6-4; Tyler Walter and Brock Hehmann both losing 6-3, 6-0. The Dragons JV won 3-2, with Jack Hehmann, J.P. Peterson/Jacob Kleiene and Brody Baker/Sam Busby all winning. The Dragons (6-7) are next in action Wednesday at Lawrence Central.
