New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls soccer team downed Shelbyville 7-1 Saturday morning. Hannah Sund scored four goals, extending her season total to 23. Gabbie Brown added a hat trick and an assist. Brooke Tanksley had three assists and Shaylee Frank one. The Dragons are now 5-3 on the season and 3-1 in HHC play. They next play Wednesday at Mt. Vernon. The Dragons JV won 5-0, with Maddie Flint, Lauren Purkey, Macy Thomas, Paige Jones and Sadey Hughbanks all scoring, with Sund and Madelyn Fox sharing the clean sheet.
