Volleyball sweeps Warren Central

The New Palestine volleyball team controlled the match from the start Wednesday, beating Warren Central 25-14, 25-10, 25-12. The Dragons seized command in the early stages of the first two sets, then used a 6-0 run on Natalie Sevier's serve to take a 13-7 lead in the third set, which eventually grew to 20-9. Hayden Ramsey had nine kills, Sevier eight and Cara Steele seven. Adelynn Crispin had five kills and nine digs. Azure Flagle had 14 digs, while Haven Flagle had nine. Elena Cook had two kills and three digs. Sam Gooding tallied 23 assists. "Great team win tonight," Dragons coach Kelli Gabehart said. "We used everyone to get the job done." The DRagons JV also won in two sets. The Dragons (6-2) are back in action Thursday at home against Greenfield-Central.
