New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys tennis team posted a 4-1 victory Monday at Waldron. The Dragons swept the singles, with Carson Rush winning 6-1, 6-0; Tyler Walter posting a 7-5, 6-3 victory and Brock Hehmann winning 6-4, 6-0. Jackson Clark/Davis Harrison won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles. Luke Bartusek/Gavin Berry lost 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. The Dragons JV won 3-0, with Jack Hehmann, Jace Gaines and James Perry/Brady Groce all winning. The Dragons are now 5-6 on the season. They next play Thursday at home against Shelbyville.
