Boys tennis falls in HHC match

The New Palestine boys tennis team dropped a tight 4-1 match Wednesday at home against Greenfield-Central. Three of the five matches went to three sets. Luke Bartusek/Gavin Berry posted the Dragons' victory at No. 1 doubles, at 6-2, 5-7, 6-2. At No. 2 doubles, Jackson Clark/Davis Harrison went the distance but fell 6-0, 3-6, 6-4. Brock Hehmann also went to three sets at No. 3 singles in a 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 loss. At No. 1 singles, Carson Rush fell 6-1, 6-4, while Tyler Walter lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. The Dragons JV fell 3-2, with Jace Gaines and J.P. Peterson/Jacob Kleine winning. The Dragons are now 2-4 overall and 1-2 in HHC play. They next play Thursday at Shenandoah.
