Girls soccer dominates Richmond

Hannah Sund continued her torrid early-season pace Monday, as she scored five goals to lead the New Palestine girls soccer team to an 8-1 victory at Richmond. Sund now has 10 goals in three games on the season. She also had an assist. Gabrielle Brown also had five goal contributions, with a goal and four assists. Hailey Pardieck tallied a goal and an assist. Addison Lindell also scored for the Dragons. Calle Rains added an assist. The Dragons are now 2-1 on the season and next play Thursday at home against New Castle. The Dragons won the JV match 5-0, with Marly Turso scoring twice. Samantha Olsen, Lauren Purkey and Janisse Barralaga also scored, while Sund and Lindell shared the clean sheet in goal.
