The New Palestine boys volleyball team dropped a tight 25-22, 28-26, 20-25, 23-25, 18-16 decision Tuesday at Herron. The Dragons had two match points in the fifth set and staved off a match point before Herron was able to win it. The Dragons scored the final two points of the fourth set to extend the match. Will Hahn led the Dragons with 18 kills and 12 digs for a double-double. Jake Cwikla added 15 kills and four aces. Jaxon Hinkle tallied seven kills and three blocks. Eli Greene had five blocks. Kameron Engle had 30 assists, six kills and four blocks. Eli Martin had 25 digs. Aaron Smith had eight digs, three aces and 20 assists. The Dragons are now 6-9 on the season. They next play Thursday at home against Lutheran.
