New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys golf team finished ninth in Thursday's regional at The Players Club in Yorktown, shooting 330. The Dragons finished near the middle of the 15-team field. Noblesville (295), Hamilton Southeastern (298) and Cathedral (301) earned the three State Finals spots. Joey McPike led the Dragons with a 76, finishing 14th overall and two strokes shy of advancing to the State Finals. Will Clark shot 78, tying for 23rd overall. Luke Cofer was 33rd with an 81. Jackson Clark shot 95. Andrew Wooton's 96 was the Dragons' fifth score.
