New Palestine High School

New Palestine senior Eli Wasson earned a medal at Friday's IHSAA boys track and field State Finals at North Central, finishing fifth in the 200 meter dash. Wasson ran 21.92, finishing a half-second behind state champion Antonio Smith of North Central. He was seventh in the prelims at 21.66. Also competing for the Dragons was senior Quinn Crawmer, who was 19th in the pole vault, clearing 13-6.
