New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys golf team won the New Palestine Invitational Monday at Hawk's Tail. The Dragons shot 316 to win the tourney by one stroke over Greenfield-Central. Tri was third with 325 and Eastern Hancock fourth with 333 in the eight-team event. The New Palestine White team was seventh with a 342. Josiah Kissel shot 77 to lead the Dragons. Luke Cofer and Will Clark each shot 79s, while Joey McPike added an 81. Andrew Wooton's 83 was the Dragons' fifth score. The Dragons next compete June 9 in the sectional, also at Hawk's Tail.
