The New Palestine softball team finished conference play Thursday with a 10-0 five-inning victory at Delta. The Dragons took the lead in the first inning and took command with a four-run third. A groundout by Catherine Trebley brought home one run. Cara Steele and Saydie Miller followed with RBI singles to extend the lead to 8-0. The Dragons added two more runs in the fifth, as Gross singled and scored on Hirschy's base hit. Claire Fitzgerald added an RBI single. The Dragons had 14 hits in the game.
