New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls tennis team beat the storms and their hosts Friday, dropping just four games in a 5-0 victory over Pendleton Heights. Arabella Deisher won 6-0, 6-1; Bethany Blachly won 6-1, 6-1 and Kaitlyn Mitchell 6-0, 6-0 at singles. At doubles, Maizy Haynes/Riley Watts won 6-1, 6-0, while Alyssa Appleby/Elliott Graham won 6-0, 6-0. The Dragons are now 11-4 overall and finished conference play with a 5-2 mark. They compete Saturday in the Westfield Shamrock Invitational.
