New Palestine High School

The New Palestine track and field teams competed in Friday's Zionsville Invitational. The Dragons boys finished fifth of 10 teams with 51 points. The girls placed 10th with 25. Paxton Holmes won the 300 hurdles (40.25). Holmes also finished second in the 110 hurdles (15.10). Quinn Crawmer finished third in the pole vault (13-0), Eli Wasson was fourth in the 200 (22.32), Colton Spears fourth in the high jump (6-0) and Jake Cooper eighth in the 800 (1:58.32), The 4x100 relay finished fourth, the 4x400 and 4x800 relays finished fifth. For the Dragons girls, Abby Journay was fourth in the high jump (5-3) and fifth in the 200 (25.73). Rylee Hurst was sixth in the long jump (16-10.5) and eighth in the 400 (59.38). The 4x800 relay finished eighth.
