New Palestine High School

The New Palestine golf team had a strong outing Saturday, shooting 349 to finish fifth in the 19-team Whiteland Invitational at The Legends Golf Course in Franklin. Will Clark shot a personal-best 78 to lead the Dragons. Jackson Clark added an 88, Andrew Wooton an 89 and Jackson Smith a 94. Gavin Harlan's 97 was the fifth score. The next match for the Dragons varsity will be May 5 at Hawk's Tail against Mt. Vernon.
