The New Palestine boys golf team had a strong day Tuesday at Hawk's Tail, shooting 161 to beat Greenfield-Central (175) and Whiteland (176). Luke Cofer shot a one-over par 37, hitting eight greens in regulation, to win medalist honors. Joey McPike followed with a 40. Josiah Kissel shot 41, while Luke Appleby carded a 42. Will Clark and Cooper Hurst's 43 tied for the fifth score. Jackson Clark added a 45. The Dragons are now 2-0. They are next in action Thursday at Morningstar against Knightstown.
