New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team finished the regular season with a 17-1 record Thursday, tallying 97.625 points to beat Fishers (85.875), Shelbyville (69.65) and Lutheran (50.375). Lynzie Stiller won on the floor exercise, scoring 9.175. Olivia Frank was second (8.875). Stiller also tied for the victory on the vault, scoring 8.45. Chiara Polo was second (8.2), Rebecca Johnson third (8.175) and Frank fourth (8.15). Addy Kendall won on the balance beam with a score of 8.55, Polo was third (8.275), Frank fourth (8.05) and Reagan Seal fifth (7.075). On uneven bars, Kendall was third (7.675) and Frank fourth (7.625). Frank finished second in the all-around (32.7), with Stiller finish8ing fourth (31.125) and Polo fifth (30.725). The Dragons next compete Saturday in the sectional at the Spartan Bowl in Connersville, which will begin at 11 a.m.
