Gymnastics downs Morristown, Lapel

The New Palestine gymnastics team won its final home meet of the season Thursday, scoring 101.95 points to beat Morristown (87.7) and Lapel (65.4) at The Gymnastics Company. The Dragons swept the top four spots on the uneven bars, with J.J. Fee winning (8.65), followed by Lynzie Stiller (8.2), Addy Kendall (8.025) and Olivia Frank (7.925). Fee also won on the balance beam (8.5), with Chaira Polo fourth (8.25), Kendall fifth (8.225) and Frank sixth (7.85). Fee won the floor exercise with a score of 9.275. Stiller was fourth (8.65), Reagan Seal fifth (8.375) and Frank sixth (8.25). On vault, Frank finished third (8.7), with Rebecca Johnson fourth (8.6) and Stiller fifth (8.5). Fee won the all-around (34.55), with Frank fourth (32.725) and Stiller fifth (32.25). The Dragons are 13-1 in dual and tri-meets. They finish the regular season Tuesday at Shelbyville.
