Gymnastics second at Bloomington North

The New Palestine gymnastics team finished second at Saturday's Bloomington North Valentine's Invitational, scoring 99.45 points. Bloomington North was the champion with 106.35 in the nine-team event. The Dragons were led by a pir of second-place finishes - J.J. Fee on floor and Addy Kendall on bars. Kendall posted a personal-best 8.55 on bars to finish second. Lynzie Stiller was fifth (8.15). On floor exercise, Fee posted a score of 9.25, with Stiller seventh (8.675) and Olivia Frank ninth (8.6). On vault, Stiller finished fifth with a personal-best 8.75. Rebecca Johnson was 10th (8.5). On balance beam, Stiller finished sixth (8.3). Stiller was third in the all-around with a score of 33.875, with Fee sixth with a 31.725. The Dragons are next in action Thursday when they host Morristown and Scecina at The Gymnastics Company.
