Gymnastics downs Franklin Central

The New Palestine gymnastics team defeated Franklin Central 102.175-95.725 Wednesday in a meet at The Gymnastics Company. J.J. Fee won the all-around with a score of 34.45. Lynzie Stiller was second (34.175) and Chiara Polo fourth (31.2). Fee won the floor exercise with a score of 9.3, with Stiller second (8.775), Reagan Seal fourth (8.45) and Polo sixth (7.575). Stiller was second on beam (8.65), with Polo third (8.175 and Fee fourth (8.1). Fee was second on uneven bars (8.6), with Addy Kendall third (8.45), Stiller fourth (8.175) and Polo fifth (7.025). On vault, the Dragons took the top five spots, with Stiller scoring 8.575 to win. Emily Hunter was second (8.475), Fee third (8.45), Polo fourth (8.425) and Seal fifth (8.375). The Dragons are now 11-1 on the year in dual, triple and quad meets. They are next in action Saturday at the Bloomington North Valentine's Day Invitational.
