Siler competes at State Finals

New Palestine senior Chloe Siler competed in Friday's IHSAA girls swimming State Finals, finishing 29th in the 50 freestyle. Siler, who set a school record of 24.02 seconds in the sectional to earn a State Finals spot, swam her heat in 24.39 seconds to finish 29th out of 36 swimmers. She finishes a tremendous senior year, where she graduates with two individual school records and a State Finals berth. The State Finals continue Saturday at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, as Dragons sophomore Isabelle Tull will compete in the diving competition at 9 a.m.
