New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team had another strong day, beating Noblesville 104.125-94.875, with Pendleton Heights fielding an incomplete team and finishing third (32.25). The Dragons took the top four spots in teh all-around. Lynzie Stiller won (35.5), followed by Lexi Hall (34.875), Olivia Frank (33.0) and Chiara Polo (32.25). Hall won on vault (9.1), with Stiller third (8.55), Frank fourth (8.45) and Polo sixth (8.3). Stiller won on bars (8.575), with Hall second (8.175), Polo fifth (7.56) and Kalle Jones sixth (7.525). Stiller led a sweep of beam, as she won with 9.125. Hall and Jones tied for second (8.85), with Frank fourth (8.4) and Polo sixth (8.15). The Dragons took the top five spots on floor exercise. Stiller won (9.25), followed by Frank (8.85), Hall (8.75), Polo (8.5) and Ella Mattingly (8.25). The Dragons next compete Saturday in the Rushville Invitational.
