New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys swimming and diving team swept Roncalli and Greenwood Thursday night in a triangular meet. The Dragons beat Roncalli 75-26 and Greenwood 53-48. Winners for the Dragons were Aidan Stephens in diving (201.40), Blake Hurst in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.78) and the 200 medley relay team of Dawson Lynch, Hurst, Jake Myers and Reese Cox (1:46.34). Finishing second were Lynch in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly, , Ashton Turner in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, Camden Rodgers in diving, Luke Appleby in the 200 freestyle, Karter McNeil in the 100 breaststroike, the 200 free relay team of Cox, McNeil, Turner and Lynch, and the 400 free relay team of Turner, Cox, Myers and Appleby. The Dragons next compete Feb. 20 and 22 in the IHSAA sectional at NPHS.
