New Palestine High School

The New Palestine wrestling team posted a 54-24 victory over Triton Central Tuesday on the Dragons' senior night. The Dragons won 10 of the 14 matches en route to the victory. Gabe Flick, Shaun Glass, Cole Vandygriff, Tyler Lavin and Isaac Poetz all won by fall. Colin Whetsel and Gunner Butt both won by decision. In addition, Jaedyn Jeffries, Gavin Wilcher and Noah Neat all won by forfeit. Prior to the match, the Dragons honored their three seniors - Poetz, Jack Rossell and manager Elinor Cheshire. The Dragons are 9-9 in dual meets with one match remaining - Thursday at Greenwood.
