Gymnasts defeat Shamrocks, improve to 4-0

The New Palestine gymnastics team improved to 4-0 Tuesday with a 101.1-99.05 victory over Westfield at The Gymnastics Company. JJ Fee won two events, the uneven bars and floor exercise, and finished second in the all-around, helping the Dragons to the close victory. Fee scored 8.5 on bars, leading a Dragons sweep of the top three spots. Lynzie Stiller (8.125) and Addyson Kendall (8.1) finished second and third. Olivia Frank (7.75) was fifth. On floor, Fee scored 9.3. Frank was third (8.725) and Stiller fifth (8.275). Fee also finished second on balance beam (8.775), with Kendall fourth (8.2) and Chiara Polo fifth (8.0) On vault, Stiller was fourth (8.425), Frank fifth (8.375) and Rebecca Johnson sixth (8.3). Fee finished second (34.725), Stiller fourth (32.325) and Frank fifth (31.825) in the all-around. The Dragons are now 4-0 on the season. They next compete Thursday at Columbus North.
