The New Palestine gymnastics team scored a season-best 106.25 Saturday, finishing second in the 17-team Franklin Central Invitational. The Dragons had two top-three finishes on floor, as Lynzie Stiller was second (9.225) and Lexi Hall third (9.175). Olivia Frank was fifth (9.1). Hall placed third on vault (9.05). Stiller was eighth (8.65) and Olivia Frank 12th (8.525). On bars, Stiller finished third (9.025), with Hall fourth (9.0) and both Frank and Kalle Jones tied for 12th (8.25). Stiller was fourth on beam (9.1), with Frank ninth (8.625) and Jones 11th (8.525). Stiller was third in the all-around (36.0). Hall was sixth (35.85). Frank also was in the top 10 in all-around, finishing ninth (34.5). The Dragons are next in action Tuesday against Westfield.
