New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team had a big day Tuesday in its opener at Connersville, winning each event to beat the Spartans 103.075-99.525. Lexi Hall won the all-around (34.15), with Lynzie Stiller third (33.6), Kalle Jones fourth (33.25) and J.J. Fee fifth (33.1). Hall won the vault (9.3), with Stiller finishing third (9.0) and Olivia Frank fifth (8.75). On bars, Stiller won with an 8.8, with Hall finishing second with an 8.56. Jones was fifth (8.275) and Chiara Polo sixth (8.15). Jones (8.65) and Fee (8.5) went 1-2 on beam, with Hall finishing fifth (7.9). On floor exercise, Fee won with an 8.85. Hall was second (8.3), Stiller fourth (8.1) and Frank sixth (7.9). The Dragons are back in action Thursday with their first home meet, hosting a four-way at The Gymnastics Company.
