The New Palestine wrestling team dropped a close 41-34 dual meet Wednesday at Lawrence North. After falling behind 23-0 as LN won the first five matches, the Dragons rallied to win six of the next eight before a pin in the last match clinched the victory for the Wildcats. Shaun Glass (195), Gunner Butt (106), Cole Vandygriff (113), Bryce Doss (120) and Tyler Lavin (126) all won their matches by fall, with Glass' 29-second pin the fastest fall of the night. At 182, Colin Whetsel won a 10-2 major decision. The Dragons are next in action Saturday at the Hoosier Heritage Conference meet at New Castle.
