New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys wrestling team dominated Franklin Central on Thursday's Senior Night dual, with the Dragons winning 57-12. Prior to the match, seniors Cooper Trimpe, Bryce Doss and Cole Vandygriff were recognized. Doss then had one of the highlight wins of the night. Ranked fifth in the state, he defeated the No. 4-ranked wrestler in his weight class. Other winners for the Dragons were Kaeden Nelson, Blake Doss, Braeden Lintner, Gunner Butt, Ryker Yonts, Gabe Flick, Isaiah Jones, Eli Oberle, Colin Whetsel and William Glesing. Trimpe also won his JV match. The Dragons are now 11-6 in dual meets this season. They next compete Saturday in the ISWCA State Duals at Franklin.
