New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys wrestling team went 3-1 Saturday at the Roncalli Duals. The Dragons started the day with a 47-19 victory over Brownsburg's JV. The Dragons then fell 62-14 to Roncalli, before beating Noblesville 39-27 and Edgewood 43-24. Bryce Doss won his 100th career match and went 4-0 on the day. Also going unbeaten were Gunner Butt, Colin Whetsel and William Glesing. The Dragons JV had 27 competitors at the Beech Grove Invitational, 13 of which placed. Eli Oberle and Brayden Newsom won individual titles. The Dragons are now 7-3 on the season. They are next in action Wednesday at Mt. Vernon.
