Wrestling teams fall at WC

The New Palestine wrestling teams competed Tuesday in a dual at Warren Central. The Dragons boys fell 57-15, hile the girls dropped a 34-28 dual to the Warriors. The Dragons girls won five matches on the evening. Calle Means and June Wagner-Gilbert won by fall. Jillian Champ won a 14-6 major decision. Bellamy Reardon and Miranda LaRoche both won by forfeit. The boys won three matches. At 138, Gunner Butt won by fall. Bryce Doss won by forfeit at 144, while Isaiah Jones won a 10-8 decision at 175. The Dragons girls are back in action Saturday at The Gobbler Invitational at Lawrence Central.The boys next compete Dec. 4 at Fishers.
