New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls wrestling team won a dual meet Wednesday at North Central, beating the host Panthers 43-42 on tiebreaker criteria. The Dragons won on the first tiebreaker, which was most falls. Winning by fall were Callie Means, June Wagner-Gilbert, Bellamy Reardon, Jillian Champ and Julia Champ. Elizabeth Champ won by forfeit. Miranda LaRoche won by injury default. Callie Rains also won a JV match by fall. The Dragons are back in action Saturday at the Ben Davis Invitational.
