The New Palestine girls volleyball team punched its ticket to the sectional final Saturday morning, beating Indian Creek 25-16, 25-15, 22-25, 25-17. The No. 8 Dragons are now 29-4. They will play in the 7 p.m. championship match at Roncalli. Sam Gooding reached the 2,000 assist milestone for her career, tallying 44 assists in the match. She also had nine digs. Azure Flagle added 24 digs with a big performance in the back row. Kyndra Monteith added 11 digs. Natalie Sevier had a double-double with 16 kills and 10 digs. Hayden Ramsey had 17 kills and Josie Corbett 11. Elena Cook and Caylee Brown each had six kills.
