New Palestine High School

New Palestine tennis seniors Moses Haynes and Max Havel played a strong match Saturday, but fell 6-4, 7-5 to Hamilton Southeastern's No. 1 doubles pair. The tightly-contested match came in the Mt. Vernon individual tennis sectional, featuring all of the unbeaten individuals from all four sectionals feeding the Mt. Vernon regional. The duo finished their season 28-3 and were the individual Hancock County champions, in addition to going 4-1 in their state tournament matches.
