New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys soccer team finished the regular season Thursday with a 5-2 loss at Pendleton Heights. Cole Christopher converted a penalty in the seventh minute to give the Dragons an early lead, but it was answered midway through the half. PH took a 2-1 lead into halftime, then extended it to 4-1 early in the second half. Joey Hicks added a goal in the second half, assisted by Noah Diaz de Leon. The Dragons finish the regular season 7-8-1 and 5-2 in HHC play. They open sectional play next Wednesday at Perry Meridian against either Greenwood or Greenfield-Central.
