Boys tennis sweeps Richmond on Senior Day

The New Palestine boys tennis team dropped just five games in a 5-0 sweep of Richmond on the Dragons' Senior Day. An All-senior lineup led the victory. At No. 1 singles, Arjomand Khokhar posted a 6-3, 6-0 victory for his 50th career win at New Palestine. Brady Torzewski won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, while Joel Dorval posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 3. The doubles teams of Moses Haynes/Max Havel and Andrew Hahn/Jesse Isaacs both won 6-0, 6-0. The JV also won, with seniors Rylan Edwards/Jace Sutton winning 8-0 at No. 1 doubles. The Dragons finish the regular season 14-3. They next compete Wednesday in the sectional semifinal at Mt. Vernon.
